Warranty Policy

To ensure the integrity of our warranty coverage, it is imperative that all inverters and batteries are installed by a qualified electrical wireman or Master electrician registered with the Department of Labour. Installation must adhere to SANS 10142 standards in all respects. A valid electrical certificate of compliance (COC) specific to the installation of the backup or solar system must be issued upon completion. Warranty claims require installation photos, a valid COC, and proof of installation by a qualified wireman/master electrician. Failure to provide these may result in rejection of the warranty claim.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from power surges, under-voltage, over-voltage, lightning, corrosion, sea spray, condensation, water damage, dust, sand, insects, lizards, excessive heat exposure, weather damage, negligence, incorrect installation, inadequate protection device rating, tampering, dirty filters, or exceeding maximum power ratings, current, or voltage.

The warranty is void if the unit is not installed as per the manufacturer's specifications, lacks surge protection, proper breakers, changeover switch, or rated fuses for battery input protection. Tampering, visible damage, or removal of warranty seals also voids the warranty.
